Do you have teenagers and wondering how you can motivate them to get out of the house this October half term?
Here are our top 10 suggestions for Things to Do in Swansea City Centre for teenagers:
- Have fitness conscious teenagers?
LC Swansea iZone Gym (11 – 17yrs) – An excellent way for those fitness conscious teenagers to get some exercise in a top class fitness facility with friends!
Open every day during the half term until 10pm (Mon -Fri) and 9pm on weekends , costing just £2.50 for a one off session (ages 11-13yr olds) and £3.50 for 14-17yrs.

2. Half price bowling at Tenpin Swansea
Loads of offers available at Tenpin during the school holidays and all year round.
Offers include TEN POUND THURSDAYS (Only £10 for 2 games of bowking, a sharing platter & a drink from 6pm) or perhaps HALF PRICE TENPIN TUESDAYS (50% off bowling and drinks from 6pm during school holidays).

3. Watch Ed Sheeran at Vue Cinema – Well, not in person, but see his concert film Jumpers for Goalposts at Vue Cinema, Swansea on Saturday 24th October at 2pm.

4. Want to watch a scary movie?
Choice of 2 horror movies at Vue Cinema and Odeon Cinema in Swansea City Centre this half term in the run up to Halloween:
- Paranormal Activity: The Ghost Dimension (3D)
- Crimson Peak
Both films are rated 15 so you’ll need to send your teenager along with some ID (providing they are aged over 15 of course!!)
If you’re over 17 then you’ll be pleased to know that VUE cinema have their SUPER TUESDAY offer, saving up to 1/3 off adults tickets all day on a Tuesday

5. YMCA YHUB Youth Drop in Centre
Every Tuesday 6pm – 8pm. A friendly, safe and welcoming environment for 11-25 year olds based in the YMCA centre at the end of the Kingsway.
There will be a halloween theme to next weeks half term club.

If your teenager is more likely to want to ‘hangout’ with their mates in Swansea City Centre, then it’s likely that THE MAD COW will be on the cards!

Swansea Museum are hosting a Big Draw Event where you’ll be able to create a piece of art for the museum on the theme of “journeys”.

9. Wales in Space Exhibition
Discover what Astronomers and Scientists from Wales have learnt and how they have done it in a fascinating and colourful show at The National Waterfront Museum. Filled with astronauts, rockets, planets and stars. Opening Saturday 24th October.
