Santa’s Time Travelling Adventure in Swansea this Sunday
Nov 16, 2018

Swansea’s much anticipated Christmas parade returns on Sunday and this year it promises to be even bigger and better than ever.
Jam packed full of festivities, there will be entertainment throughout the City Centre including choirs, dancers, musicians and the world famous clowns ‘Tom and Pepe’ with their elves. All the festive fun will begin at 4pm along the eight stages of the route and the main event will begin at 5pm.
Titled ‘Santa’s time travelling adventure’, the parade will focus on Christmases of the past, present and future and immerse onlookers in to each of them. There’s a new route this year through the City Centre and Santa will stop off at four ‘Show Stopper’ stages at St. Mary’s Church, Swansea Castle and either end of the Kingsway. There will be live entertainment, dance troupes and amazing lights at each ‘Show Stopper’ stage and then the big switch on of the lights in that area.
With Santa stopping off at these stages and entertainment along the route there’s no more waiting around in the cold to catch a glimpse of the action, as there’s fun-filled festivities going on all around and no one misses out.
Many of the bars and restaurants in the City Centre will be open before, during and after the parade so whether it’s a mince pie and hot chocolate or something a bit stronger. As always there’s plenty to choose from.
With FREE car parking at all city centre council car parks make sure you head in to the city centre this Sunday to welcome Santa to Swansea and enjoy the start of the festive season!
