Enter Our Happy Pumpkin Competition

Halloween 2020 is upon us and as we’ve all had enough of a fright for one year, we’ve launched a Happy Pumpkin Competition. Your creative carving could win £50 of vouchers to spend in Swansea City Centre and a family pass to Plantasia!

We’d like to see a photo of your best ‘Happy Pumpkin’. You can create, carve, paint and decorate a pumpkin with bright colours, happy faces, or even glitter to spread some smiles and cheer in Swansea.

We’ll need your photos before October 25th and the photo with the most likes by 5pm on October 30^th will be our WINNER! Your vouchers will be valid for any shops/businesses within the Swansea BID area. Whether it’s toys, games, comics, clothes, books or treats – you can spend your voucher on whatever you wish. We welcome entrants from anybody aged 17 and under who live within the County of Swansea.

Here’s how to enter:

• Paint, carve, decorate and get creative with your pumpkin.
• Snap a photo and send it to us via social media or email with your name, age and location. You can direct message us on Facebook, Instagram or Twitter or email: [email protected]
• We’ll need your entries on/before Sunday 25th October. We will post all photos to an album on Facebook on Monday 26th October.
• The photo with the most likes by 5pm on October 30^th will be our winner!
• We’ll announce the winner on Facebook and invite you to pick up your vouchers and Plantasia family pass.

Terms and conditions

• The Happy Pumpkin competition is a fun competition organised by Swansea BID/The Big Heart of Swansea for Halloween 2020.
• Entrants must be aged 17 or under and live within the County of Swansea.
• The £50 prize vouchers can be spent in any businesses within the Swansea BID area.
• Entries that may be offensive will not be accepted.
• Journalists are welcome to cover the competition if a link is provided to The Big Heart of Swansea Facebook page.
• The winning entry will be the photograph with the most likes/reactions at 5pm on Friday 30^th 
• The family pass for Plantasia includes 2 adults and 2 children.
• We reserve the right to modify, cancel and limit the promotion at any time.
• Colourings, drawings, sculptures and creations are all permitted as entries.
• The ‘happy’ element of the competition is to enable local children to still have the opportunity to enjoy Halloween.
• Entrants may enter individually or as a group as long as social distancing and Covid regulations are followed.
